On logging into Digital Trader, you are directed to the ‘Search’ page.

 

 

This page shows the quotes run by all users in your broker office.

 

Search Filters

You can enter Search text to return specific, for example using the Digital Trader Reference number, or an insurer's Quote or Policy reference. You can also search by Address or Client Name.

 

To clear the text filter, delete the search text and hit return.

 

The filters in the Search Bar can be used to help refine the search results, and include the following:

 

• User - filter to show only results created or updated by the selected user
• Date - filter to show only results updated in the selected date range
• Type - filter to show only Quotes (including New Business, MTA, and Cancellation quotes), Polices, or Clients

 

Note that the selected filters will be remembered the next time you visit the page, so you may need to change them to display different results, e.g. to return a quote that was created by a different user.

 

Search Results

On the Search Results, the some identifying information is presented for each item.

 

• Date - the date the item was last updated
• Type - the item type (i.e. Client, Policy, New Business Quote) and Product, if applicable
• Client - a link to the Client page for the client the item relates to
• Details - some identifying details for the item, including e.g. address or insurer reference numbers
• BDT Reference - the reference number for this activity on the Digital Trader system
• User - the user who last updated the item
• Actions - a button allowing the user to proceed with further actions for the item, e.g. to View full details on the Results page, or Edit to continue editing an unsubmitted Draft quote.
