Policy Cancellation
In some circumstances, a broker may wish to cancel a policy.   Depending on Insurer, this can be accomplished in Digital Trader using the “Cancel Policy” workflow on the Policy page.  

Difference between Manual and Integrated Cancellation

Some insurers support policy cancellations directly through Digital Trader (Integrated Cancellation), whilst other insurers require brokers to take steps outside the system to cancel policies (Non-Integrated Cancellation). 

In both cases, the Cancel process on Digital Trader can be started by clicking the Cancel Policy button on the Policy table. 
 

The pop-up will then contain information explaining which type of Cancellation is available for the Policy insurer. For insurers that allow Integrated Cancellations, follow the below steps in the Digital Trader platform.  For insurers that do not allow Integrated Cancellations, see section 8.3
